How soon in advance should I book my session?
It is better to book a couple months in advance to make sure the date you want is available!
Do you help us with locations?
I have several beautiful locations that I use for my sessions! I also have the use of a farm up in Tacoma that has multiple different areas to use. If you have a special spot I am always up for any new ideas!
Will you help us with what to wear for the session?
Absolutely yes! I send you my Pinterest link with tons of styling choices. And I can help you decide what to go with!
What time of the day do you typically shoot?
All my outdoor sessions are done at golden hour which is either sunrise or sunset! It is what photographers call magic hour and it creates the most yummy light! Here in PNW we are blessed with a lot of cloudy days, so if we end up with one of those days, we have the ability to be more flexible with the times. Clouds offer soft diffusion and create beautiful portraits as well.
Do you provide gowns for your maternity sessions?
Yes I do! I have several beautiful gowns for you to choose from for your maternity session.
What can we expect when doing a studio session?
I have a very small cozy studio in my home! I use it mainly for milestone, wrapped newborn and cakesmash sessions. But I can also do professional head shots as well.
What if it rains?
Well, we live in the beautiful rainy PNW! So this does happen every so often. Good news is I watch the weather and try to know a head of time so we can plan accordingly and reschedule if necessary.
How soon after the session do I receive my gallery link?
My contract states 2-4 weeks depending on my work load! Some times I have them done a lot sooner so that is nice too.
How many images do you provide in my gallery?
Great question! The images that you receive in your gallery depends on the collection you have chosen, which you will see in the investment portion above. If you decide you love them all and want to add to your session, I offer a couple different options for digital image packages that are budget friendly!
Do I have to print through you?
You absolutely do not have to print through me, but I highly recommend you doing so! Woven Hands Photography is not responsible for the quality of the product if you choose to print through Retail chain stores. I use several different professional photo labs for different products and have calibrated my screen for color. I keep my prices low in hopes that you will print through me and I would love to help you order quality prints and products for your home. But if you still want to print on your own I highly recommend mpix.com as they have a professional side too, so there prints are closer to professional quality.
